On behalf of the Outside.in developer team, I am proud to announce the launch of the Outside.in API. We’re opening up our vast location-based news database and are really excited to see all of the cool mashups developers will create!
Here’s our API team (myself included) giving it a brief intro:
A new month is coming up, which means it’s time for our monthly RHH (Ruby Happy Hour). From now on we’ll have it on the first Wednesday of the month.
We’ll provide the pizza, beer and wii-based entertainment for everyone. We had a big crowd last time and not quite enough pizza, so if you’re planning on coming please RSVP in the comments and we’ll reserve a slice for you. Hope to see you there!

Just a reminder that we’re going to be hosting another Ruby Happy Hour with free beer and pizza at our offices this coming Wednesday evening. The office Wii just arrived last week, along with our Rock Band equipment, so the theme of this happy hour is Battle of the Bands. Hope to see you there!

We had such a good time at our Ruby-and-Rails get-together last week that we want to keep it going. Starting on July 9th, we’ll be hosting a Ruby Happy Hour with pizza and beer every 2nd Wednesday of the month, from 7-9pm at our offices in Dumbo (20 Jay Street, Suite 1019, Brooklyn, NY 11201).
