Thanks, Lauren, your email was very helpful. First, I had a lot of validation problems caused by *other* plugins. Second, StoryMap code *does* validate! My problem was caused when I put the StoryMap embed code into a text widget, rather than directly into the sidebar.

Iframes are not supported under xhtml strict, but StoryMap embed code does validate as xhtml transitional.

I’m sending you an email with suggestions for placement on your own site that won’t break validation.

Love the story map, guys! I use it in my sidebar by placing the code into a text widget.

I noticed that StoryMap breaks HTML validation on my site. Is that something you’re aware of? If so do you have a fix for it? Thanks.
